This is a book cover for the Rifts Role-Playing Game published by Palladium Books. The subject is China and Magic in the Rifts world, and my goal was to depict an epic battle between two old foes.

This is the cover for an upcoming Rifts book. I wanted to show a motley group of adventurers common to Rifts earth. I used me usual process- doing the sketch in pencil, then scanning and painting everything in Photoshop.

This summer is Rifts 15th anniversary, and to celebrate Palladium Books is releasing a new, revised main rulebook with updated additional material and artwork. This is the new cover for the book. My goal was to create a different exciting, eye-grabbing cover, but also to keep some classic themes to make the "old school" players happy.

My Creative Director at Marvel provided me with a New Avengers cover for inspiration and asked me to create a poster using the same "Heroes Charging" theme, only on a much larger scope using all of Marvel's major heroes.
